LONDON: Britain’s world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua has signed up with William Hill as global brand ambassador of the UK-based online bookmaker and will feature in the company’s new integrated advertising campaigns over the next twelve months – and beyond.
Joshua will also appear in the firms social media and PR activities promoting the William Hill brand.
The unified world heavyweight boxing champion joins William Hill’s current brand ambassador team, which includes Northern Irish former horse racing jockey Anthony McCoy, Scottish television presenter Kirsty Gallacher and Welsh football pundit and former player Robbie Savage.
The announcement comes as Joshua prepares to defend his WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO world titles against Alexander Povetkin in front of 90,000 people at Wembley Stadium on 22 September.
