Stake joins USA Cricket as men’s ntl team principal partner

USA Cricket has announced Stake, a global online casino, as title sponsor for the upcoming USA vs. Nepal cricket series, the Stake Stars and Summits Trophy, and more broadly as a principal partner of the USA Cricket men’s national team.

The partnership marks a significant milestone in the growth and promotion of cricket in the United States.

The Stake Stars and Summits Trophy is set to kick off on October 17 and will feature three T20Is between Team USA and Team Nepal at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Grand Prairie, Texas.

These night matches under the lights promise to showcase the growing talent of American cricket, as the team hopes to build on their momentum from June’s T20 World Cup. As title sponsor, Stake will play a pivotal role in enhancing the experience for fans and players alike, emphasizing their commitment to supporting sports and engaging with diverse communities.

“We are excited to welcome Stake as our title sponsor for this series and as a principal partner for our Men’s National Team,” said USA Cricket CEO, Johnathan Atkeison. “Together, our goal is to create memorable experiences for our fans, and to elevate the profile of cricket across the nation. There’s no better way to kick it off than these incredible matches!”

This partnership will allow the online casino to “connect with cricket fans, both new and seasoned, while contributing to the growth of the sport in America”. As part of the partnership, Stake will have fan engagement activities and giveaways during the series.

Dom Rae, sponsorship manager for Stake, said: “We’re excited to expand our footprint in American cricket by becoming the principal partner of the US Men’s national team. The sport is on a strong upward trajectory and we’re sure the upcoming matches will showcase the incredible talent leading that growth.”

The Stake Stars and Summits Trophy will be followed up by the Cricket World Cup League 2 series, which will feature USA and Nepal teams, as well as the Scotland cricket team, as the three teams compete in six ODIs to gain points for qualification to the next ICC ODI World Cup. This ODI series will take place from October 25 to November 4th at Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium.
