Ahead of the start of the second season of US Masters T10, The Chicago Players has been unveiled as the newest franchise for the upcoming League slated to be played in Houston, Texas.
US Masters T10 season 2 will be played from November 8 to November 12. The Chicago Players is one of the six franchisee that will feature in the veterans league.
The team is owned by Vishal Patel, a US-based businessmen with extensive involvement in sports franchises worldwide. The duo’s passion for cricket is evident, as they continue to invest in the sport’s growth across various leagues globally.
“We are thrilled to bring The Chicago Players to the US Masters T10. Cricket is experiencing a remarkable surge in popularity here in the USA, and we are excited to be a part of this journey. Watching cricket legends play under one roof is a dream come true for us and for fans,” Patel said.
“We are already receiving incredible support, and we look forward to a successful season. Our team is prepared, and we are hopeful of lifting the trophy in our debut season,” he added.
Chicago Players unveils logo
Ahead of the start of the second season, the Chicago Players team unveiled a new Logo for the franchise on Monday.
The newly revealed logo features a dynamic shield, symbolizing strength and resilience, with three stars representing the team’s pursuit of excellence. The franchise name, ‘The Chicago Players’, is prominently displayed on the shield, signifying their readiness to make a mark in the tournament.
“We are thrilled to unveil the new logo of The Chicago Players as we for this exciting journey in the US Masters T10. Our logo symbolizes the spirit of victory and our commitment to excellence. As a team, we are dedicated to bringing top-tier cricket to the USA and making a significant impact in our debut season,” Patel stated.
Season 1 of US Masters T10 was held in 2023. Texas Chargers clinched the title after beating New York Warriors in the final. The inaugural season was played from August 18 to August 27, 2023, in Florida.
