GMR SPORTS has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Telangana during the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025 at Bharat Future City. The collaboration underscores GMR’s commitment to supporting the state’s Telangana Rising vision, which seeks to position Telangana as a global hub for investment and innovation.
With Dubai Sports City onboard as its knowledge partner, GMR Sports will lead the development of a Satellite Sports City within Bharat Future City. The project will include elite training facilities, international-standard stadiums, sports science and high-performance centres, rehabilitation units, and complementary infrastructure. Designed to elevate Telangana’s sporting ecosystem, the initiative aims to nurture athletes and prepare them to compete on the global stage.
To streamline the execution of the project, the Government of Telangana will provide facilitation and approvals through its TG-iPASS policy framework, ensuring timely progress and ease of development.
