THUMS UP, the cola brand, is bringing the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup trophy closer to fans through a special ICC Trophy Viewing Experience across three of the country’s busiest airports.
The initiative is being rolled out in partnership with major airport operators. Thums Up has teamed up with Delhi Airport and Adani Airports at Ahmedabad and Mumbai to deliver consumer engagement across key transit hubs that collectively serve millions of travellers each day.
The ICC Trophy Viewing Experience commenced at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad on 15 January, followed by Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi on 16 January, and will move to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai on 17 January. The showcase will be open daily from 6 am to 8 pm.
While Delhi Airport will feature a dedicated ICC trophy display, the Ahmedabad and Mumbai airports will host LED mural photo zones, offering fans an interactive and visually engaging experience.
Coca-Cola India and Southwest Asia chief customer officer Abhishek Gupta said, “Cricket is one of India’s most powerful consumption moments and has a unique way of bringing people together, and Thums Up has always shown up where that passion is strongest. By taking the ICC Trophy experience to India’s major airports with our partners at Delhi Airport and Adani Airports, we’re meeting fans in the middle of their everyday journeys, turning transit spaces into meaningful touchpoints that reflect the scale, confidence and boldness that define Thums Up.”
Adani Airports CEO Arun Bansal expressed, “AAHL proudly collaborates with Thums Up to bring the ICC Trophy to Ahmedabad and Mumbai airports, turning everyday journeys into vibrant moments of national pride, fan engagement, and innovative travel experiences. We are excited to bring such momentous occasions for our passengers, besides ensuring impeccable infrastructure services.
