ODISHA WOMEN produced a dominant all-round performance to claim the title at the IndusInd Bank Women’s National Cricket Tournament for the Blind 2026, defeating Madhya Pradesh Women by 32 runs in the final played on Tuesday morning at the Hi-Tech Cricket Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
After winning the toss and choosing to bat, Odisha Women posted a strong total of 173 for 4 in their allotted 20 overs, showcasing control and positive intent in the summit clash. Madhya Pradesh Women responded with a spirited effort in the chase but were restricted to 141 for 5, falling short despite their determination.
Odisha’s disciplined bowling and sharp fielding proved decisive, allowing them to maintain pressure throughout the innings and seal a memorable championship victory.
The tournament was organised under the aegis of the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI), with support from IndusInd Bank, reinforcing a shared commitment to fostering inclusivity in sport and empowering women athletes with visual impairments.
