FIVE-TIME Indian Premier League (IPL) champions Mumbai Indians have revealed their official jersey ahead of the 2026 IPL season.
According to the media release, the design centres around the letter ‘M’, which has been developed into a repeating pattern to create a sense of rhythm and continuity across the jersey. The motif symbolises the MI mindset, mentality and momentum, representing focus, unity and the franchise’s forward-looking approach.
By transforming a single letter into a cohesive pattern, the design reflects the collective strength that emerges when the team and its supporters come together. Mumbai Indians’ signature blue and gold colours continue to define the jersey’s visual identity.
The team will once again be captained by all-rounder Hardik Pandya. After recovering from a difficult start last season, Mumbai Indians reached the play-offs in the 2025 IPL campaign, before being knocked out by Punjab Kings in Qualifier 2.
Heading into the 19th season of the tournament, Mumbai Indians will be aiming to end their title drought. A successful campaign in 2026 would also see the franchise become the first team to win six IPL titles.
