Lets Game Now wins commercial & execution rights for National Esports C’ship

THE ESPORTS FEDERATION OF INDIA (ESFI) has shortlisted Basus Hall Of Game Private Limited (Lets Game Now) as the winner of the bid to secure the commercial and execution rights for the National Esports Championship (NESC) 2026, the country’s premier esports tournament and the official selection pathway for the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.

The National Esports Championship (NESC) 2026 will feature nine esports titles that are part of the Asian Games program, including eFootball (Console & Mobile), Honor of Kings, Pokémon Unite, The King of Fighters XV, Street Fighter 6, League of Legends, Puyo Puyo Champions, Gran Turismo 7, and Tekken 8, a media release said.

LGN emerged victorious following a multi-bid process, outpacing over eight major players including Jio and Sky Esports, to clinch the mandate. The Top 8 stage of NESC 2026 will, for the first time, be conducted as a LAN event, to be executed by Lets Game Now, the release said.

The selected/eligible athletes for League of Legends and Honor of Kings will further advance to the regional qualifiers conducted by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), scheduled from 12–14 June 2026 and 13–21 June 2026, respectively, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where teams will compete for progression to the main event pathway of the Asian Games. For the remaining titles, the selected and eligible athletes will directly compete at the Asian Games 2026, subject to necessary approvals from the relevant authorities. Participation of the selected/eligible athletes in the main event at the Asian Games 2026 shall be governed by MYAS guidelines and will be subject to approvals from the respective authorities, the release added.
