THE HERO HOCKEY INDIA League (HIL) Season 3, scheduled to take place in January 2027, will have three host cities – Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad and Delhi, while Bhubaneswar will stage the Women’s HIL.
Hockey India opened player registrations on 15th May, with the player auction scheduled to take place in September.

HIL said it crossed 1 billion social media views in just over two weeks in Season 2, faster than the previous season’s full campaign. ‘The Hockey Paper’, sourcing data provided by HIL, reports that television viewership for Season 2 rose 37% after the first six matches, while the official YouTube channel recorded more than 80 million views in 28 days.
