THE INTERNATIONAL DANCE LEAGUE and ESPN have announced a global rights agreement for the 2026 season. IDL events will air biweekly on ESPN2 in the US at 7 p.m. ET, beginning July 28, 2026.
IDL CEO and Co-founder Connor Lim said, “Dance already has one of the most passionate fan bases in the world. They watch, they share, they show up, and the engagement on social proves that.”
The first event of the 2026 season, the New York Series at Hammerstein Ballroom, airs on July 28 on ESPN2, with three additional events rolling out through the end of August. Since its May 2026 season opener, IDL has generated over 650 million views and impressions, with three sold-out events completed in New York, Vancouver, and Sydney.
The IDL features six elite teams — Brotherhood (Vancouver), Quick Style (Oslo), Jam Republic (Singapore), GRV (Los Angeles), Royal Family (Auckland), and 1MILLION (Seoul) — competing across a regular season and championship format.
Coverage will also be available on ESPN and Disney+ internationally in Australia, New Zealand, the Caribbean, and Mexico, with Disney+ streaming available in Brazil, South America, the Philippines, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
