NEW YORK: On Location, a global leader in premium experiential hospitality, Thursday announced it has appointed Isra Villalpando, Adam Wixted, and Allen Brooks to its Olympic and Paralympic Games Official Hospitality leadership team.
In 2021, On Location signed a three-event deal with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to be the official hospitality provider for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris 2024, Milano Cortina 2026 and Los Angeles 2028.
Villalpando will be joining On Location as senior vice president of Operations and Strategy for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, based in Lausanne, Switzerland. Villalpando brings over 15 years’ experience working in senior roles within the IOC and IPC. Among other things, he was responsible for the financial management of the IOC’s multi-billion-dollar commercial program, as well as overseeing the corporate financial planning of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Villalpando will be focused on driving the company’s long-term Olympic and Paralympic strategy, including its partnership with the IOC.
Wixted has been appointed as vice president, Global Sales Development. Part of On Location’s commercial team and based in New York, Wixted will be responsible for maximizing the company’s sales partner network to further expand global reach. Wixted bring more than 20 years’ experience in the sports hospitality and experiential business sector and has worked on 10 Olympic Games in addition to the FIFA World Cup, FIFA Women’s World Cup, Super Bowl, Ryder Cup and NFL International Games.
Additionally, looking ahead to 2028, Brooks has joined On Location as senior vice president & managing director for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Based in Los Angeles, he will play a pivotal role in navigating the strategic direction and partnership with the LA28 Organizing Committee. Brooks comes with a wealth of experience across the Olympic landscape, having led the planning and delivery of venue operations, sponsor activations, and hospitality programs for tentpole events such as 11 Olympic and Paralympic Games, two FIFA World Cups, and the Super Bowl, amongst others. He has held roles within Olympic Organizing Committees and the IOC, as well as global sports marketing agencies servicing clients such as Visa, Coca-Cola, Omega, Proctor & Gamble, Bell Canada and Bank of America with their strategic planning and event delivery.
