AIFF launches RFP process for Indian Super League 2026-27 media rights

THE AIFF HAS invited bids for the media rights of the ISL 2026-27 season, releasing a Request for Proposal (RFP) that covers broadcast, digital, media, and production rights. Companies wishing to participate must purchase the RFP document for a non-refundable fee of ₹2 lakh.

The rights have been divided into two packages.
• Package A includes media rights and live production responsibilities, with the successful bidder covering all production costs.
• Package B excludes production, with ISL clubs arranging live production while the rights holder focuses on broadcasting and commercial operations. The AIFF has reserved the right to amend or cancel the RFP process at any stage.

Only eligible entities will be considered during the evaluation process. The entity purchasing the RFP must be the one submitting the bid, and bidding rights cannot be transferred to another company or affiliate. Bidders must submit proof of payment along with company details including registered address, PAN, and GSTIN to the AIFF. Purchasing the RFP document alone does not guarantee evaluation of the bid.

The RFP was published on July 25, with a pre-bid conference scheduled for July 30. The deadline for written queries is August 3, with AIFF responses due on August 5. Final bids must be submitted by August 8. Technical bids will be opened on August 10 at 11:00 AM IST, with commercial bids to follow at 1:00 PM IST the same day.
