MUMBAI: Astral Limited has associated with three Indian Premier League franchises – Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians – for IPL 2022.
While the company will be the official sponsor of the four-time champions CSK, it will act as an associate sponsor for the new team from Gujarat – Gujarat Titans – and five-time champions Mumbai Indians.
Astral has been at the forefront of partnerships, collaborations and sponsorship deals across various gamut of sporting events in the country including teams in the previous seasons of the IPL, teams in the Pro-Kabbadi League and has a stated focus on developing an ecosystem for nurturing and stimulating young talent across the country.
In its first season in the IPL, the newly formed Gujarat Titans, along with established teams such as CSK and MI fit right into the “overall brand value and promise of what Astral stands for today”, an official release states.
