THE BADMINTON ASSOCIATION of India has invited Expressions of Interest from sports management companies, event promoters, and commercial rights holders for the conceptualisation, development, and management of a professional badminton league in India.
BAI is looking for partners with proven experience in managing national and international sports leagues, along with expertise in event management, sponsorship acquisition, media rights, and commercial operations. Applicants must demonstrate financial capability and submit a bank guarantee or comfort letter for a minimum of Rs 30 crore.
Proposals must cover the league format, franchise ownership model, revenue strategy, broadcast rights plan, marketing approach, governance framework, and financial projections. The submission deadline is June 30.
