NEW DELHI: The special general meeting (SGM) of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will be held on December 1 here, following a go ahead by the Committee of Administrators earlier this week.
As already reported, the SGM is expected to discuss a three-point agenda including the Future Tours Programme (FTP) of the Indian team spanning 2019-2023, settlement of dues owed to erstwhile IPL franchise Kochi Tuskers Kerala and re-affiliation for Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA).
BCCI acting president CK Khanna told PTI on Thursday, “We checked the availability of all the office-bearers of the affiliated units and decided on December 1. Accordingly, I have instructed the acting secretary to issue a notice.”
The meeting will finalise the Indian cricket team impending tour of New Zealand in early 2019, and discuss Kochi Tuskers’ compensation claim of Rs 8.5 billion.
