B’luru’s Kauvery Hospitals launches sports injury center

BENGALURU: Healthcare chain Kauvery Hospitals has launched the Kauvery Center for Sports Injury – an advanced subspecialty from the stables of Kauvery Institute of Bone & Joints. 

The Center, located at the hospital’s Electronic City, Bengaluru facility, is dedicated to offering comprehensive services for the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries by leveraging the expertise of a multidisciplinary team.

The Center was inaugurated by squash player Joshna Chinappa, recipient of the Padma Shri award, who was also the chief guest at the function. Actor, dancer and scuba diver Samyukta Hegde, was also present at the inauguration.

The Center will support athletes right from their injury recovery to return to peak performance and will operate with the theme of “Giving Wings to Your Athletic Journey”. The Kauvery Hospitals is looking to stand out from its competitors with its multidisciplinary approach and advanced treatment options. Dr P C Jagadeesh, an expert in treating sports injuries at the hospital, was instrumental in treating many athletic injuries including Chinappa’s latest ACL tear injury.
