BANK OF BARODA, in collaboration with the All India Public Sector Sports Control Board (AIPSSCB), is hosting the All India Public Sector Carrom Tournament 2025–26 in Vadodara, Gujarat, from 9 to 11 February.
The tournament features teams from ten public sector organisations, with around 18 international players and several national-level competitors in action. Among the participants is reigning men’s singles carrom world champion Prashant More, representing RBI.
Bank of Baroda chief general manager & chief operating officer Prabhat K. Sharma inaugurated the tournament. Senior officials present during the inaugural session included Baroda Zone general manager & zonal head Vinay Kumar S. Rathi; DGM (strategic hr & hr operations) Dr Dinesh Kumar; DGM (C & A) Lakshmi Kant; DGM (BD) Girish K. Manshani; along with other dignitaries from the head office and the Baroda zonal office.
Through initiatives such as this tournament, Bank of Baroda continues to promote sportsmanship, strengthen employee engagement, and encourage a culture of healthy competition and camaraderie among public sector institutions, in line with its broader focus on holistic wellbeing and organisational excellence.
