BENGALURU: The Tamil Nadu Basketball Association will hold the 68th Senior National Championship for Men and Women at the JLN Stadium, Chennai from 17 to 24 January 2018.
Organised under the aegis of the Basketball Federation of India, the center of attraction this time is the number of International players participating in this Championship.
The 25+ teams in each of the men’s and women’s section have been grouped into two levels: Upper Level 1 and lower Level 2, with Level 1 featuring the top 10 teams from the previous championship divided into two groups of five teams each. Level 2 features the remaining teams. The tournament is played on a league cum knockout basis.
Uttarakhand Men and Kerala Women are the defending champions from the previous edition held in Puducherry in January 2017.
