NEW DELHI: The Committee of Administrators currently running Hockey India has appointed the returning officer and assistant returning officer for the conduct of the upcoming elections.
Ajay Nayak, former Chief Electoral Officer, Government of Bihar, will be assuming the position of returning officer. Additionally, AK Majumdar has been appointed as the assistant returning officer.
They will be assuming their positions with immediate effect.
As per the timeline agreed between the HI CoA and the International Hockey Federation (FIH), the elections will be concluded by October 9.
