Former Indian cricketer and IPL legend, Ambati Rayudu launched the Super Kings Academy in Coimbatore, which will commence cricket coaching classes in January 2024.
The academy’s infrastructure includes 9 pitches of which 5 are turf pitches, 2 astroturf and 2 Matting pitches along with floodlights for training in the evenings.
During the launch of the academy, Rayudu gave a speech where he said, “Coimbatore is lucky and really fortunate because growing up as a cricketer to get these kinds of facilities to practice is a dream. I am sure a lot of good cricketers will come up using these facilities in Coimbatore, especially having turf wickets and also having speciality coaching.”
