DA ONE SPORTS, founded by former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, has announced a strategic partnership with Army Public School Janglot to introduce a structured multi-sport development programme for students.
Designed to foster discipline, confidence and performance, the programme will provide coaching across multiple sports, including cricket, football, basketball, badminton, tennis and golf. Training will be delivered by qualified coaches and supported by integrated strength and conditioning frameworks. The collaboration aims to create an environment where students can develop their athletic abilities while balancing academics within a structured school ecosystem.
Beyond regular coaching sessions, the programme will follow a long-term athlete development model supported by scientific training methods, performance monitoring and progressive learning pathways. The initiative also seeks to build a strong culture of fitness, participation and competitive excellence among students.
Dhawan said, “Shaping champions of tomorrow requires a strong foundation of discipline, opportunity, and the right environment for young athletes to grow, especially in regions like Jammu & Kashmir where the potential is limitless. Institutions like Army Public Schools already have a proud legacy of nurturing these qualities and supporting sporting excellence. Partnering with Army Public School, Janglot is meaningful for us, as it allows Da One Sports to complement this ecosystem by providing structured pathways, guidance, and exposure for students. We also hope this collaboration becomes a starting point for similar partnerships with Army institutions across the country in the future.”
Da One Group CEO Anshita Gupta, CEO shared, “We are deeply honoured to partner with Army Public School, an institution that reflects the Indian Army’s long-standing legacy of discipline, excellence, and sporting achievement. For decades, Army establishments have been at the forefront of India’s sports ecosystem, producing athletes who embody resilience, character, and national pride. This collaboration reflects our commitment to expanding the Da One vision across new geographies while contributing to an ecosystem that is already synonymous with quality. Together, we aim to strengthen structured pathways that nurture young talent with the right guidance, exposure, and opportunities to grow with confidence and ambition.”
Army Public School Janglot chairman Brig. Tejender Choudhary commented, “We are pleased to partner with Da One Sports, an initiative associated with a name that has brought immense pride to the nation. Shikhar Dhawan’s contribution to Indian cricket and his commitment to nurturing young talent resonate strongly with the values we uphold within the Army education system. Army Public Schools have always emphasised discipline, physical fitness, focus, and character and this collaboration will help us further enrich an already robust sporting ecosystem by providing students with enhanced exposure, structured pathways, and valuable mentorship. As sports in India continue to evolve, such partnerships are important in ensuring that our students grow into confident, capable individuals who embody the spirit of excellence and service.”
Army Public School Janglot principal Dr Vishakha Sharma added, “Our association with Da One Sports brings an added dimension to our efforts towards the holistic development of students. Access to structured programmes, expert guidance, and enhanced training opportunities will support our existing sports ecosystem and help students develop confidence, discipline, and teamwork alongside academic excellence. We believe this initiative will create meaningful pathways for children in our region to pursue sports more seriously and prepare them for future opportunities.”
