THE DELHI CAPITALS Cricket Academy, co-owned by JSW-GMR, has expanded its global presence with a new centre in Seattle, United States.
The academy will operate in partnership with Seattle Thunderbolts Academy, an organisation established in 2021 that won the Minor League Cricket Championship in 2022 and currently trains over 200 young cricketers across youth, adult, and women’s cricket. The Thunderbolts manage six cricket grounds, including turf wickets, across the Pacific Northwest.
The Seattle centre will follow Delhi Capitals’ coaching curriculum and technical framework, covering structured training, performance tracking, and player development. The partnership aims to build clearer pathways for players and coaches through training camps, exposure opportunities, and knowledge exchange across Delhi Capitals’ global academy network.
With the Seattle addition, Delhi Capitals’ academy network now includes centres in NCR, Ghaziabad, and Bengaluru in India, alongside locations in London, Mississauga, and Seattle internationally.
