EA SPORTS has unveiled its GEN / EA SPORTS anthem film and expanded the platform with the signing of its first-ever high school athlete, Elijah Haven, No.1 Quarterback in the Class of 2027.
GEN / EA SPORTS is how EA SPORTS connects the next generation of athletes to the fans and communities that will define their careers and grow with them along the way. Powered by EA SPORTS’ unique position at the intersection of sport, gaming and entertainment, GEN / EA SPORTS partners with athletes earlier in their journey and helps shape how they show up across gameplay, content and culture, a media release said.
“GEN / EA SPORTS is about connecting the next generation of athletes and fans,” said John Reseburg, VP of Marketing, Partnerships & Communications for EA SPORTS. “It starts by showing up earlier and backing athletes not just as competitors, but as culture shapers who are building something bigger around them. That’s what makes this moment powerful. Partnering with Lewis Hamilton brings the perspective of an icon who has lived this journey, and champions what’s next in a way only he can.”
EA SPORTS expands GEN / EA SPORTS with the signing of Elijah Haven, the program’s fifth athlete and first high school athlete, offering a first look at how GEN / EA SPORTS is built to grow with athletes from the very beginning. A rising senior and dual-sport athlete committed to football at the next level, Haven represents where sport is headed: competitive, creative and digitally native. Off the field, his world includes music, drumming and filmmaking — passions that shape how he connects with fans and expresses himself.
