Energy and infrastructure conglomerate Jakson Group has appointed former India cricket captain Sourav Ganguly as its first-ever brand ambassador, as part of a strategic move to strengthen its positioning in the clean energy and infrastructure space.
The partnership is aimed at enhancing brand visibility and accelerating adoption of the company’s sustainable energy solutions across domestic and global markets. As part of the association, Ganguly will feature in integrated marketing campaigns, corporate initiatives and stakeholder engagement programmes, helping amplify Jakson’s focus on renewable energy and infrastructure development.
The move comes at a time when India is rapidly advancing its renewable energy ambitions, with Jakson seeking to deepen its role across the value chain, including solar energy, distributed power, green hydrogen and infrastructure projects.
Commenting on the partnership, Sameer Gupta, Chairman of Jakson Group, said Ganguly’s leadership and credibility align closely with the company’s core values of resilience, performance and innovation. He added that the association is expected to strengthen the brand and drive wider adoption of its sustainable solutions.
Ganguly, one of India’s most influential cricketing figures, said the company’s vision across the energy and infrastructure ecosystem is “timely and impactful,” expressing enthusiasm about contributing to India’s transition toward a greener future.
