GURU SAMRUDDHI HOUSE OF INVESTMENTS, a diversified enterprise with interests spanning co-operative societies, insurance, tourism and real estate, has taken over the GS Delhi Aces franchise in the Tennis Premier League (TPL) ahead of its seventh season.
Bringing iconic star power to the side, Indian tennis legend Leander Paes — 18-time Grand Slam champion and Olympic bronze medallist — has been announced as the brand ambassador of GS Delhi Aces.
The franchise was officially launched on 10 September in Dubai, making it the first-ever TPL team unveiling to take place on an international stage. The event was graced by Sadguru Shri Guruji and attended by over 500 guests, who extended a warm welcome to the team and its newly appointed ambassador, per the release.
TPL continues to attract high-profile associations, with Sania Mirza (Ambassador, Gurgaon Grand Slammers), Mahesh Bhupathi (CEO, SG Sports), Rakul Preet Singh (Co-owner, Hyderabad Strikers) and Sonali Bendre (Co-owner, Chennai Smashers) already part of the league’s ecosystem.
Paes said, “I have been a part of TPL since its inception. This year is a special one for the league as it will become India’s fourth sporting league to complete seven successful seasons, and I am delighted to be associated with GS Delhi Aces.”
