BHUBANESWAR: With less than two weeks to go for the start of the Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup Bhubaneswar 2018, Hockey India announced Sunday ticket sales going live for the opening ceremony to be held on 27 November in Bhubaneswar and the World Cup Celebrations event a day later at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.
In view of public demand, the ticket sales for both the events will be live online on TicketGenie from Tuesday at 12 pm. Music Maestro A R Rahman will be performing at both the events alongside prominent Bollywood celebrities.
The online redemption of the tickets for the opening ceremony will be from 22 November from 3 pm at Gate 4 of the Kalinga Athletics Stadium along with other locations throughout the city.
Fans can choose redemption centres from multiple locations or counters in Cuttack while booking their tickets for the World Cup Celebrations event. The date for online redemption of the tickets for that event will be announced in due course.
Hockey India reiterated that tickets can only be purchased online and will not be available for sale over the counter.
