NEW DELHI: Swiss luxury watchmaker OMEGA has hosted the first edition of the OMEGA Trophy at the DLF Golf and Country Club, Gurugram.
This premium golfing event attracted amateur players from across India for an 18-hole tournament.
At the conclusion of play, there was a winner each in the men’s and the women’s category. Both took home the OMEGA Trophy along with an OMEGA Seamaster AquaTerra for the winner in the women’s category and the OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M for the winner in the men’s category.
Following the competition, Bollywood veteran Anil Kapoor was the guest of honour at a special evening event, hosted to commemorate the occasion.
OMEGA’s engagement with golf has been steadily growing over the years. The brand is involved with a roster of top players and tournaments, including the OMEGA Masters in Switzerland, which the company has title sponsored since 2001.
