MUMBAI: Puma India Wednesday announced on its official Instagram handle that popular Indian rapper and musician Brodha V, also known as Vignesh Shivanand, will be endorsing the brand’s range of street wear through its sports-style campaigns in the country.
The update has got Puma 6,134 views so far and 5,933 views on BrodhaV’s account on Instagram.
The global sports apparel giant had also joined hands for its ‘Suede Gully’ campaign in 2017 with Divine, another popular hip-hop artist in the country, on whom the recently released Hindi film ‘Gully Boy’ was loosely based on.
Brodha V was quoted as saying to Exchange4Media on the association: “I am super stoked to be part of the PUMA family. When partnering with a brand, it was very important for me to believe the association works in synergy with my personal ethos and sense of style, and PUMA proved to be a perfect fit. PUMA has been known for providing a platform for hip-hop culture in India, and have been at the forefront in doing so. With this partnership, I look forward to doing some amazing work with the brand, and help elevate PUMA and my brand of music to the next level.”
