MUMBAI: The city-based sports tourism company, Fanatic Sports has added another feather in its cap, after being the named the official authorised overseas reseller for the prestigious 2019 Wimbledon Championships in London.
Fanatic Sports confirmed the development on its official Linkedin page on Sunday, adding that it will be working alongside Wimbledon’s exclusive hospitality provider, Keith Prowse to offer Indian tennis fans the opportunity to watch top-class tennis action this summer.
The company gained popularity two months ago, roping in former Australian cricket captain, Michael Clarke on board as its brand ambassador. It has worked alongside the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Sourav Ganguly and Mahesh Bhupathi in the past as well.
Amongst other sporting events in 2019 in which Fanatic Sports will be offering tour packages include the ATP Dubai Tennis Championships, the World Tour Finals and the Laver Cup in tennis, the ICC Cricket World Cup in the UK and the Rugby World Cup in Japan.
