NEW DELHI: The Indian Olympic Association in the recently held annual general meeting of the IOA on December 14 at Olympic Bhavan here, elected a new set of office bearers to run the national body for a four-year term.
Newly elected officials of the IOA are:
Narinder Dhruv Batra (International Hockey Federation president): President
RK Anand (Jharkhand Olympic Association): Senior vice-president.
Rajeev Mehta (Fencing Association of India): Secretary general
Anandeshwar: Treasurer
Eight vice presidents elected on the same day include:
Adille J Sumairiwala – Athletic Federation of India
BP Baishya – Indian Weightlifting Federation
VD Nanavati – Swimming Federation of India,
Sudhansu Mittal – Kho Kho Federation of India
Sunaina Kumari – Bowling Federation of India,
K Govindraj – Basketball Federation of India
Kuldeep Vats – Delhi Olympic Association
Karan Chautala – Luge Federation of India
Six joint secretaries:
Dr Surinder Mohan Bali – Ice Hockey Association of India
Rakesh Gupta – Indian Triathlon Federation
