JINDAL STAINLESS has partnered with the Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS) to support the development of India’s emerging sporting talent. Under its CSR arm, the Jindal Stainless Foundation, the company will serve as the key sponsor of IIS’ Track & Field Development program in Hisar for FY 2025–26. An initiative aimed at nurturing young Indian athletes for success on national and international stages.
The Hisar centre acts as a vital scouting hub within the IIS network, identifying promising athletes from across India and integrating them into a structured, high-performance training ecosystem. Targeting athletes aged 18 to 25, the programme offers expert coaching across sprints, hurdles, and throws, providing the technical and physical foundation required to excel in elite competition.
This year’s Hisar batch of 39 athletes will benefit from a support system enabled by Jindal Stainless, including access to facilities, coaching, sports science support, nutrition, and financial backing for participation in competitive events. The programme also features guidance from renowned biomechanics expert Dr Klaus Bartonietz, the former coach of Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra.
Having been associated with IIS for several years, Jindal Stainless continues to strengthen its role in empowering India’s youth through sport. By leading the Track & Field Development program at Hisar this year, the company reinforces its commitment to social impact, fitness, and youth empowerment through sports excellence.
Jindal Stainless managing director Abhyuday Jindal said, “At Jindal Stainless, we believe in empowering talent and creating opportunities where they matter most. Supporting IIS’ Track & Field Development program is our way of ensuring that promising young athletes can access the best resources and compete with confidence on the global stage. Sports is one of the key focus areas of our Foundation, and through this collaboration, we aim to nurture India’s future champions.”
IIS president Manisha Malhotra added, “The partnership with Jindal Stainless is a significant step in advancing IIS’ vision of creating a world-class ecosystem for Indian athletes. Their support will allow us to strengthen our Track & Field Development program in Hisar, while providing young talent with access to state-of-the-art facilities, scientific expertise, and competitive opportunities essential for success at the national and international levels.”
