JioStar IPL viewership sees 7% rise in cumulative growth to 1.06 bln

JIOSTAR ANNOUNCED THAT TATA IPL 2026 has recorded a cumulative reach of over 1.06 billion across digital and linear television, a 7% increase over the previous season. The average match reach has climbed to 277 million, a 6% increase over the previous season, with content available across 20+ feeds and 12 languages.
Connected TV has been the fastest-growing platform this season, with a 26% increase in reach and 20% growth in consumption year-on-year. On linear television, reach is on track to cross 500 million, in line with last year’s figures at the same stage of the tournament. JioStar’s “Champions Wali Feed” features former cricketers including Ravichandran Ashwin, Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, Virender Sehwag, and Irfan Pathan, offering analysis and insights alongside live coverage.
This season has seen 22 sponsors partner with JioHotstar on digital and 16 on Star Sports for linear TV. The advertiser base includes 125 new brands compared to last season, spanning established and emerging companies across various categories.
