JioStar has renewed broadcasting rights for the English Premier League for the next three seasons, starting from 2025-2026 and ending with the 2027/28 campaign.
The deal is reportedly valued at $65 million over the next three years, with $53m covering rights fees and $11m for marketing commitments by the Premier League in India.
The rights for the current 2022-2025 cycle were with Disney India subsidiary Star Sports.
Following the merger of Disney India with Reliance Industries’ Viacom18 and Bodhi Tree Systems, which was rebranded as JioStar, the company has effectively retained the Premier League rights.
