JIOSTAR, OFFICIAL DIGITAL partner for the Indian Premier League (TATA IPL), has unveiled its campaign for the 2026 season titled ‘Ek Hoke Dekh’, urging fans across the country to come together and experience the tournament as one.
The campaign film, featuring cricketers Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shreyas Iyer, Krunal Pandya, Tilak Varma, and Mohammed Siraj, brings alive the message of unity through the tagline ‘Ek Hoke Dekh’ (Watch as one).
The campaign is conceptualised by ZeroFifty and produced by Jamic Films. The film unfolds through a narrative set in a tea shop, where a moment of conflict over identity is reframed by the players.
Per an official release: “Through their personal journeys in the IPL, the film highlights how belonging transcends geography and is instead shaped by shared passion for the teams they represent.
“Each cricketer’s story reflects their roots while celebrating the fanbases that have embraced them in their respective franchise cities. The narrative builds towards a powerful culmination where rival fans come together, reinforcing the campaign’s central message of unity amid diversity.”
The release quotes JioStar head of Content – Sports Siddharth Sharma, as saying: “With 18 seasons of the TATA IPL behind us, team fandom has evolved into a social phenomenon. For two months every year, the lines of India’s diverse ethnic tapestry blur as the TATA IPL unifies fans, rendering all other differences irrelevant. Our films magnify this proposition and showcase how the infectious euphoria of the TATA IPL bonds and unites people across the nation like nothing else.”
ZeroFifty co-founder Shriram Iyer added: “‘Ek Hoke Dekh’ is a clarion call. The TATA IPL offers us a unique paradox- while it divides fans by franchise, it compels us equally to put aside all other ideas that divide us and come together to enjoy the game. Replete with rivalries, it is also an occasion that unites. The campaign is simply an invitation and a tribute to the spirit of unity.”
The 19th season of the TATA IPL promises a compelling mix of emerging talent and established stars, with fans able to catch all the action live on JioHotstar and the Star Sports Network.
