KIA INDIA HAS signed a three-year partnership with the Tennis Premier League (TPL) as exclusive sponsor. Kia India will be integrated across the TPL ecosystem, including the TPL App, and will serve as front-of-jersey sponsor for all eight franchise teams.
TPL, which has completed seven seasons under the All India Tennis Association and is broadcast on JioHotstar, counts Leander Paes and Sania Mirza among its brand ambassadors, with Sonali Bendre Behl and Rakul Preet Singh as franchise co-owners.
As part of the partnership, Kia India will support TPL’s “Race to Gold Scholarship” initiative, which has backed over 80 young tennis players over the last two years. The programme aims to support 120 additional athletes going forward, with a long-term goal of developing Olympic-level talent for the 2036 Games.
Tennis Premier League Co-founder, Kunal Thakkur said, “This partnership with Kia India is a great moment for us. Over the last few years, we have focused deeply on building a strong grassroots ecosystem through our app and initiatives like Race to Gold along with our League. Having a global brand like Kia India recognize and back this vision gives us the confidence to scale our efforts and truly impact the future of Indian tennis.”
