Legends League Cricket announces LLC Ten10 league

NEW DELHI: Legends League Cricket (LLC) is set to launch a cricket campaign through LLC Ten10 League across ten cities. 

The league will have 300 matches played with hard tennis balls and engage 1,280 players in an 80-day tournament in Uttar Pradesh.

Per an official release, said initiative is designed to provide cricket fans with ample opportunities to play premium cricket under the mentorship of legendary cricketers. These cricket legends will interact with the players providing cricketing techniques, guidance, and motivation. The Legends of the sports like Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh, Chirs Gayle, Irfan Pathan, Suresh Raina, Brett Lee, Mohammed Kaif, Robin Uthappa, Shane Watson amongst others will engage with the teams. With no age restriction the new hyper local tournament will provide everyone a chance to play premium quality cricket. The stated aim of the tournament is to motivate participants to embrace fitness and develop technical cricketing skills, bringing in a spirit of sportsmanship and while working on their game.

With 80 teams and 1,280 players set to take part, each team will have a designated legend mentor. The campaign will take place in the following cities- Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Allahabad, Lucknow, Kanpur, Noida, Ghaziabad, Agra, Aligarh, and Meerut.

Speaking on Ten10 League, Raman Raheja, co-founder of LLC said, “Legends League Cricket believes in giving back to society and is now a part of the “Fit India” initiative. Our goal is to inspire players of all ages and backgrounds to lead a healthier lifestyle through cricket. By connecting them with legendary mentors, we are creating an opportunity for skill development and fitness promotion that is both unique and impactful. The tournament will be a huge opportunity for the fans to engage and have connections with their favourite legends. We will incorporate the best practices of cricket including the anti-corruption unit in these games as well.”

The release further adds that the tournaments will be streamed on an as yet unnamed OTT platform and live telecast on television with the “best production quality” that will provide a “global platform and exposure” to the participants.
