Lord’s confirms full 2026 schedule

MARYLEBONE CRICKET CLUB (MCC) has released the complete list of fixtures to be staged at Lord’s Cricket Ground in 2026, with dates now finalised for a packed summer of domestic and international cricket.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has also confirmed the 2026 schedule for The Hundred, including Finals Day, which will once again be held at the Home of Cricket. London Spirit are set to host four home matches at Lord’s, facing Manchester Super Giants (23 July), Southern Brave (1 August), MI London (6 August) and Birmingham Phoenix (9 August). The men’s and women’s finals will be played on 16 August.

The international program for Lord’s, announced last year, includes a historic moment as England Women host India in their first-ever Women’s Rothesay Test Match at the ground in July. The fixture forms part of a summer-long celebration of the women’s game, following the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

Lord’s will also host three group matches of the tournament, with England v West Indies, South Africa v a qualifying nation, and Australia v India. The final is scheduled for 5 July.

England’s men will contest Rothesay Test Matches against New Zealand in June and Pakistan in August, while India will visit Lord’s for a Metro Bank One-Day International in July.

The domestic season begins on 3 April, with Middlesex opening their Rothesay County Championship campaign at home against Gloucestershire. Middlesex men will stage four additional four-day fixtures at Lord’s over the summer.

The Vitality Blast arrives at the ground on 22 May, as Middlesex take on Kent in both the men’s and women’s competitions. Further Blast fixtures follow on 24 May, with Leicestershire Foxes visiting in the women’s competition and Surrey in the men’s.

Later in the season, Yorkshire will face Middlesex at Lord’s in the men’s Metro Bank One-Day Cup on 2 August.

The Barclays Knight-Stokes Cup, a new schools-focused T20 competition designed to grow participation among state schools, will host its girls’ and boys’ finals on the Main Ground for the first time on 10 September. More than 1,000 teams are expected to take part nationwide.

Disability cricket will again be celebrated through the Festival of Disability Cricket, bringing leading players from England’s disability squads to Lord’s.

MCC Playing Members will have the opportunity to feature on the Main Ground during Women’s Day (17 April) and Men’s Day (11 June). Additional fixtures include MCC Men v Jersey (16 April), MCC Men v MCC State Schools XI (4 September), and matches involving MCC Women and Middlesex Women against the SCG XI (14 July).

Rounding off the 2026 schedule, Lord’s will host the UK Armed Forces Twenty20 Cricket Day (23 April), Oxford v Cambridge men’s and women’s matches (7 May), the traditional Eton v Harrow fixture (8 May), and a further UK Armed Forces Twenty20 Cricket Day later in the season.
