MUMBAI: The Mumbai Cricket Association Committee of Administrators conducted a meeting Monday with the MCA managing commitee members where it was decided that the body would register its ‘new’ constitution that takes into account the Lodha Committee reforms with the charity commissioner.
“The MCA will be putting up the revised draft of the ‘new’ constitution on its website for three days. If the members still have any suggestions, they can give us. We will register the new constitution with the charity commissioner, most likely in the next week,” a top MCA official told PTI.
The BCCI had earlier declared that all state associations have been given a deadline of September 20 to comply with the Supreme Court judgement and reframe their constitutions accordingly in order for the board’s fresh elections to be conducted in November.
