METRO BRANDS has named Harshvardhan Chauhan as its chief marketing officer (CMO) and senior management personnel, strengthening its leadership team as the company enters its next phase of brand and business growth. His appointment came into effect on 23 February.
Chauhan will report directly to chief executive officer Nissan Joseph and will work closely with the senior leadership team to shape strategic brand direction, drive marketing transformation and accelerate growth across Metro Brands’ portfolio.
He brings over 18 years of experience in marketing and business leadership across sectors including retail, fashion and lifestyle, grocery and e-commerce. During his career, Chauhan has held senior roles at organisations such as Trident Group, RPSG Group, DLF Shopping Malls, ShopClues, Godrej Group, Reckitt Benckiser and Accenture, building a strong track record across consumer brands and digital commerce platforms.
Academically, Chauhan holds an MBA in Strategy and Business Management from Symbiosis International University, Pune, and has completed the Accelerated General Management Programme at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
