India’s biggest Poker spectacle, National Poker Series India 2024 witnessed a record-breaking response from the burgeoning Indian poker community. Within the first 7 days of the commencement of the series, the edition has received close to 50,000 entries with 171 medals distributed, surpassing last edition’s number.
The record entries reiterate National Poker Series India as the biggest Poker phenomenon in India.
Following a series of qualifying rounds, players from Maharashtra have secured a total of 35 medals, whereas Delhi has won 18 medals, Uttar Pradesh won 17 medals with Rajasthan and Karnataka ranking 4th and 5th with 14 and 15 medals. Interestingly, the series is also witnessing an increase in first-time participants in National Poker Series India who are displaying exemplary gameplay and reaching the final table for multiple tournaments.

In a display of strategic gameplay, two participants from NPS Camp, Divya Raushan and Varun Vohra, also secured a Gold and Silver medal respectively. NPS Camp is an industry event that was formulated to train Indian poker players. Capturing a series of activities like breathing techniques and ice baths along with rigorous poker training, the camp reiterated how playing poker requires holistic well being.
National Poker Series India 2024, hosted on PokerBaazi, India’s biggest poker platform, commenced on March 3rd, and will continue until March 24th. This 21-day poker festival provides both amateur and seasoned poker players with the chance to compete for honours, fostering camaraderie and unity within the Indian poker community. Additionally, the top three performers, determined by their medal tally, will be awarded an all-inclusive trip to the Poker Mecca, Las Vegas.
