NEW YORK: NBA India confirmed Friday that the Indian basketball prodigy Amyjot Singh has signed a deal with the G-League’s Wisconsin Herd, which is the junior outfit of the Eastern Conference NBA team, Milwaukee Bucks.
Singh impressed many during his two-year stint with Oklahoma City Blues, the G-League affiliate of Oklohoma City Thunder, averaging 2.5 points in 8 minutes on the floor which included 3 starts.
The 27-year-old is the second Indian to feature in the tournament after Satnam Singh. Amyjot has also had stints with the Delhi Capitals in the Pro Basketball League and Tokyo Excellence in Japan’s National Basketball Development League in the past.
