INDIAN BADMINTON ICON Saina Nehwal and Danish great Peter Gade are set to headline The Legends’ Vision – Legacy Tour India, a global initiative designed to grow the sport through community outreach, junior engagement programmes, and local partnerships. The tour, returning to India after eight years, will take place on 23–24 November at the Siri Fort Sports Complex, New Delhi.
“I am delighted to bring The Legends’ Vision to my home country again,” said Nehwal, a London Olympics bronze medallist who recently joined Olympic champion Carolina Marín as one of the newest Legends associated with the platform. “Badminton has given me everything in life, and it is always special to return to the court in a way that inspires young players.”
The opening day on 23 November will include interactive junior exhibitions featuring Nehwal, Gade and Legends’ Vision Ambassadors, followed by the official India launch of A Racquet’s Second Life.
“This programme has always been about giving back to the global badminton community, and I’m proud to see the message continue to grow,” said Gade, the 1999 All England Champion.
On 24 November, outreach activities will be held across Delhi-NCR, giving fans the chance to meet and engage with both Nehwal and Gade.
