MUMBAI: Global entertainment OTT platform, Netflix on Wednesday launched the official trailer of its sports documentary called ‘Cricket Fever: Mumbai Indians’ based on the journey of the 3-time IPL champions, which also covers their 2018 season.
Netflix India confirmed the development through an official tweet that read: “Step 1: Learn the lyrics to Duniya Hila Denge Hum. This is all the spirit we need but you can see what it’s like for yourself by catching the Mumbai Indians documentary dropping on 1st March.”
The documentary features team owners Nita Ambani and Akash Ambani, cricketing legends such as Sachin Tendulkar and Mahela Jayawardene, captain Rohit Sharma amongst the big names of the game going about their roles.
The team’s ups and downs, behind-the-scenes action and fan reactions will be showcased across eight episodes of the docu-series, which will begin from 1 March.
