THE ODISHA GOVERNMENT has decided to lease out the Hockey World Cup village in Rourkela and has floated a tender to lease out the village which has all kinds of modern facilities.
According to reports, the Hockey World Cup village will be leased out not on a short-run term rather on a long-run basis.
However, the Sports Department officials have refused to give any comments about the floating of the tender, the report said.
The World Cup Village has 225 rooms built to house the teams, coaches, support staff and officials during the last
Hockey World Cup.
