MUMBAI: Ogilvy, one of India’s largest advertising and marketing agencies, announced Wednesday that it has appointed industry veteran Piyush Pandey as its chief creative officer for its worldwide operations from 1 January 2019. As a result, he becomes the first Indian ever to hold the position.
Meanwhile, Pandey will continue serving as the chairperson of Ogilvy India. In January itself, the company will confirm its worldwide creative council which will have 20 members, out of which 10 are expected to be female. At present, the council has 12 members.
