PCB damages claim: BCCI writes to ICC dispute resolution panel

MUMBAI: The BCCI has sent in its official response to the three-member dispute resolution committee constituted by the ICC to adjudicate on the $70 million financial compensation claim that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made against it for allegedly not honouring the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the two rival boards.

As per the MoU, Pakistan and India were to play six bilateral series between 2015 and 2023. However, the BCCI has not fulfilled its commitment, citing political tension between the two countries as the reason.

Pakistani media reports that PCB officials — including chairman Najam Sethi, COO Subhan Ahmed and others — will meet lawyers in the United Kingdom next week in regards to the case it is making for compensation.
