MUMBAI: The VIVO Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 6 is set to end on Monday as Bengaluru Bulls take on Gujarat FortuneGiants in the final at the National Sports Club of India, Mumbai.
The total prize money this season, adds up to Rs 80 million.
The winners of the final will take home Rs 30 million, while the finalists will settle for Rs 18 million.
Third-placed UP Yoddha will receive Rs 12 million for their first ever appearance in the knockout rounds of the tournament. Fourth-placed Dabang Delhi will also be rewarded for a much improved performance this season with Rs 8 million. Fifth and sixth placed Bengal Warriors and U Mumba respectively will earn Rs 3.5 million each for their efforts.
Besides teams, the PKL will once again reward individual performances. The MVP of Season 6 will bag Rs 1.5 million. While the best raider and the Tata Ace defender of the tournament will gain Rs 1 million each.
The Mashal Sports Debutant of the Season is set to receive Rs 800,000 and the best referees (both male and female) will be shown on national television with a cheque of Rs 350,000 each.
