Pro Panja League asserts season 2 viewership surges to 250m

PRO PANJA LEAGUE season 2 achieved record growth, expanding its broadcast reach to 250 million households, compared with 185 million in its debut season, .

The league also hit record-breaking numbers on social media, surpassing 150 million views across social platforms. Live content saw unprecedented traction on the official Pro Panja Instagram page, particularly from Day 5 onwards when clashes — Jaipur vs Sher-e-Ludhiana and Rohtak vs Mumbai Muscle — drove audience engagement to new highs.

North India (Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, J&K, and Chandigarh) emerged as the most dominant domestic market, accounting for 20% of total viewership, followed by the North East (24%) and Maharashtra & Goa (16%). Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai topped metropolitan audiences, despite the event being staged in Gwalior.

This season also showcased a diverse line-up of arm-wrestling contests across men’s, women’s, and para categories. In August alone, the league amassed over 100 million views on Instagram.

Our initial goal was to professionalize India’s traditional sport, and the performance of Season 2 shows we’ve accomplished just that, with our athletes’ becoming inspirations for a new generation. Now, with our sights set on a global footprint, including international participation planned for Season 3, we are building a stage unlike any other.”
