PRO10, spearheaded by Indian cricketer Ravi Shastri and sports entrepreneur Neeraj Sareen, has announced its international debut, introducing professional T10 cricket to emerging markets across Southeast Asia and Europe.
The inaugural season will feature five franchise teams competing from 30 January to 4 February 2026 at Thailand’s Terd Thai Cricket Ground. West Indies great Sir Viv Richards has been appointed Thailand ambassador for the league, with a player roster that includes David Warner, Chris Lynn and George Munsey.
Conceived as a catalyst for cricket’s growth in non-traditional regions, Pro10 aims to build a fast, accessible format tailored to new fans and aspiring players across Southeast Asia and Europe. The initiative also establishes a structured, professionally managed T10 ecosystem in Thailand, Bulgaria and Poland, according to the media release.
The league is designed to offer local talent the chance to play alongside leading international cricketers and coaches. Positioned as a practical development tool, Pro10 seeks to support emerging nations that have limited exposure to world-class players, helping accelerate cricket’s expansion in new territories.
