RAJASTHAN ROYALS unveiled their new jersey for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in Jaipur. The winners of the inaugural IPL season in 2008 shared the reveal with fans through a post on Instagram.
“New look, same Halla Bol. Jersey: RRevealed,” the franchise wrote in the caption. Team captain Riyan Parag attended the launch event alongside teenage batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi. The trio showcased the team’s new kit for the IPL 2026 season during the unveiling.
The franchise is expected to travel to Guwahati on 26 March ahead of their opening fixture against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on 30 March. Notably, the Royals were involved in one of the most significant trade moves in IPL history ahead of the 2026 season, which adds further intrigue to their opening clash with CSK.
Sanju Samson, who had been the face of Rajasthan Royals for more than a decade and represented the franchise across 11 seasons, was traded to CSK and will now wear the yellow colours. In return, the Royals acquired Sam Curran and Ravindra Jadeja.
Jadeja was part of the Rajasthan squad that lifted the inaugural IPL title in 2008 under the captaincy of the late Australian spin legend Shane Warne. The veteran all-rounder represented the Royals during the 2008 and 2009 seasons before moving on to other franchises in subsequent years.
